I agree with the concept (cut back on police budgets and find a use for confiscated vehicles), but shudder at the possibilities.  First of all, that means that the police departments will profit off of crime (assuming the car was paid for with illicit money), and the police might just start targeting or profiling people with nice cars so they can end up using them.

Nice wheels though...   ;)

Don't think it came form the same source, but I seen police in Belfast driving a Ford Focus RS with all the logos. Sort of looked cool, sure beats the armoured cars they all drove up until recently.

Nice! our towns cop drives dodge charger, not as nice as that but still nice for a cop car... and the best part is he hit a dear while on patrol  :yahoo: :DD, (nobody really likes him)
