Jul.25 (GMM) Their teammates may be steering the battle, but Giancarlo Fisichella and Felipe Massa are poised to play a pivotal role in the outcome of the '06 title. Off the back of Alonso's complaint that Massa plays a better supporting role, Renault chief Pat Symonds publicly urged Giancarlo Fisichella to find a higher gear with seven races to go in 2006. ''The constructors' championship is going to go down to the wire,'' he said on Monday, ''and Fisi needs to be there at every race stealing points off Ferrari.'' Fisichella finished sixth, behind both red racers, at Magny Cours, while counterpart Massa fouled Alonso's opening stint by acting as a spoiler behind teammate Michael Schumacher in the first stint and corner. The 33-year-old Roman acknowledged: ''I have to beat Massa and (McLaren's Kimi) Raikkonen. They are my rivals for third place in the championship and I know that if I am beating them, I am helping Renault for the constructors' title too.'' Massa also admitted that his 'help' for Ferrari and Schumacher is important. He told Gazzetta dello Sport: ''I can't fight for the title anymore but I want to help the team achieve the constructors' and personally I can aspire to be third in the drivers championship
