Look like that Star Trek bloke

We thought this one was an April Fools joke at first, but having taken a closer look it all seems legit. Yep, this is the world’s first set of home cinema glasses.

Dubbed the MPGlass 230M, these bins purportedly display an image that is the equivalent of watching a 30-inch screen from 2 metres away. It can even be used on the move – presumably with a portable DVD player – which should make train journeys interesting.

Simply hook up your DVD player or games console to the supplied AV inputs, slip in the integrated earphones and you’re laughing – or more likely, people are laughing at you.  :D

The display is set up so that you can look away and be “back in the room”, aware of what’s going on, but also so that snooping fellow passengers can’t get a squiz at what you’re watching.

You can buy the MPGlass 230M they cost £300.
