Watch Vettel's helmet during the GP

He's got a new, well let's say 'interesting' design on the back of it.   ;)

Yeah Lewis' lid does make him look like a carney punk who works on the Waltzer.  :D

Vettel is obviosly just trying to appeal to his pre and early puberty fanbase.  ;) Oh and he's hoping it might swing Ian's support his way as well.   :D :tease:

In practice Nando's helmet looked like someone had stuck strips of ticker tape on the sides.

I really like the pictures of Moss's Lotus in the 1963 race in the top of the helmet. The view of the old Gasworks Hairpin shows how much that part of the track has changed in 50 years. :good:

This is pathetic and disgraceful if Kimi was pressurized to change his Helmet. Among all the helmet designs, for Kimi was the stand-out, as celebrating his favorite debut, and yet because of stupid regulation he had to put a tape. What a shame  :nono: :nono:

I thought if there was anyone on the grid capable to flip off Bernie, it would be Kimi, especially over dubious claims to ownership rights of the likeness of his hero.

It's artwork of a likeness from a photo that the FOM claims ownership of.  Who is to say the art wasn't created from a family photo taken at the same time?  How is it that Hunt's family doesn't have ownership rights of artwork THEY had commisioned of JH?  This is the stuff that makes me so sick of F1.  Every little bit of it, even of (or especially of) fallen heroes, has a price tag on it and somebody claims ownership of it.    :nono: :nono:

Glad to see 'James Hunt' was clearly visible on Kimi's helmet.

Personally, I think a driver's helmet should be free space, controlled by no one but him (or her). Bernie's an a$$ and always has been. I maintain he has done F1 more harm than good and I hope he gets a good stretch in a German prison soonest.
