Fisico Q&A
« on: April 22, 2012, 10:04:48 AM »
Fisico did a short question-and-answer session on Twitter last night. (I would have told you earlier but I was offline at the time it was announced and still offline when it happened). Since it's a complete pain in the neck to cross-reference tweets properly, I put the Q&A into a more conventional format on the Fisichella Forum.

Would you like me to cross-post the converted Q&A here?

Please add the Q&A of Fisico if possible, it is the same like in his forum?

I'm a bit late with this because I didn't see the thread get updated - sorry, gato. The original cross-reference job is here and is cross-posted here:

Giancarlo did a short question-and-answer session on Twitter this evening. I've posted it here with links and slightly tidied-up:

Chlo: Will you watch the F1 race tomorrow?
Fisico: Absolutely... Forza Ferrari!

Grogz: holla Fisico, I want to buy 1:18 model of your Ferrari F1 F60 from 2009 to add to my collection, but i cant find any online :(
Fisico: Let me know if you'll find it... because I'll buy it!

Liam Andrews: Who do you want to win the F1 Championship this season?
Fisico: Quite simple... Ferrari.
Liam Andrews: Thanks! @MarkfisiHughes met you a few years ago and he'd go crazy if you could tweet him!
Fisico: It's my pleasure.

Christian Rose: What do you enjoy most about driving the 458 GT? :)
Fisico: It's a wonderful car and a beautiful atmosphere... I really like it, I can't wait for Le Mans...

Eric de Jong: Will you be at Bavaria city racing in Rotterdam this year with the Ferrari?
Fisico: I still don't know... but i really enjoy all the city racing with Ferrari.

Sebastian Haughton: Hi Giancarlo. Have Ferrari got major updates coming in the Mugello test to improve their car? Or have they got a new car?
Fisico: We'll see there.

Charlie Gaze: When you look at drivers like Michael and Pedro in F1, does that make you likely to return to an F1 race drive one [more] time?
Fisico: Actually i'm very happy with my role inside the Scuderia and FIA WEC.
Charlie Gaze: That's good to hear. As long as that makes you happy, I am happy for you :)

Chris: which of your F1 wins do you think was your best?
Fisico: All.... because I won in different contest...

Dusky: What is the main difference between #F1 and endurance Racing, which do you prefer? #askFisico @lacanta
Fisico: It's quite different, but now I'm absolutely happy...
Dusky: I was [at] Spa 2009 and saw you take pole with Force India, never forget that day. #F1 #meraviglioso

Mark Hughes: Hi Giancarlo you're my favourite racing driver and continue to watch you in le mans is it as challenging driving in Le Mans?
Fisico: Thank you Mark, it's a big challenge... and I also have big team mates.

Ivan Amador Dueñas: Hi Fisico. What is the best car that you had [to] drive [in] F1?
Fisico: The car with the better results...

Diane Cullimore: Hi Giancarlo! Do you ever go to GPs still?
Fisico: Yes, I will go in some GPs when I don't have FIA WEC GP.
Diane Cullimore: That's great. Thank you for answering, so good of you; good luck with your racing. xxx

Charlotte Eyre: Any tips for a karting driver coming up to be a racing driver? #askFisico
Fisico: It's the better way*...
Charlotte Eyre: The better way?

Chris: You've driven in the Monaco Grand Prix and Le Mans. Do you fancy having a go at the Indy 500 one year?
Fisico: It could be quite interesting...

Ian Tyurin: What is the most significant event happened to you last year?
Fisico: The podium at Le Mans... Road Atlanta... Spa... Silverstone... the Ferrari city racing events.

Mark Hughes: Has Fernando Alonso been your toughest in your career?
Fisico: A great team mate, a great driver...

Ian Tyurin: Ok :) And what about Moscow? Do you like Russian food?
Fisico: I really enjoyed the Moscow city racing... wonderful city

Fisico: Ok, there is an interesting Barca vs Real..see you next time, Ciao!

I wasn't online at the right time to ask anything (one of my friends was online and mentioned me in a question, hence Fisico referred to me), but I will keep a close eye on Fisico's Twitter stream to see if any more opportunities arise.

* - Your guess is as good as mine as to what that answer was supposed to mean.

Thanks, Ali!

I like the idea of Fisi having a go at Indy.

Let's see... 1,000,000 fans at $1 each should do it.

Cos, you're welcome.

lkjohnson, I have a feeling that if Ferrari could be persuaded to provide an Indycar, the funding would take care of itself because finding people in favour would not be difficult...

Might be some crossover when F1 goes to V6 turbos. Unfortunately I don't think Ferrari would want to supply other teams or run spec chassis.

Maybe they could badge it Fiat or Alfa, since they are all under the same corporate umbrella and both are moving back into the U.S. market.
