Title: Nürburgring for Sale
Post by: cosworth151 on March 19, 2013, 11:50:14 AM
The Nürburgring is up for sale. There are reportedly five to ten interested parties. State appointed liquidator Jens Lieser assured the public that none of the buyers are “oligarchs or sheiks” who may make the track private.

I hope this grand and historic venue can survive and continue as one of the world's premier circuits.

The Green Hell should be preserved, and if possible a round of F1 there please.

I hope that they find a buyer.  While the modern circuit isn't that great overall, it remains a good track relative to the modern circuits, and the setting is beautiful.  We can't afford to lose it.
