Title: Mercedes..WTF!!!!

Well I suppose a bad series of pit stops happen to every team at some point. The last minute double stack call caused such confusion I think I heard Lewis yelling. Merc and George has the thank the left front tire guy for spotting the wrong tires and saving a possible penalty.
Toto was so p*ssed he actually swore on live TV. I pity everyone who will be in that de-brief.
But George held his own and drove a heck of a race so good on him. Checko for Merc in 22.....hmmmm.

Unless Lewis fails to agree money terms, which might be a bit reduced after this race.

Totally gutted for George, he deserved the win he should have had.  :'(

Merc will not be a happy place to be this week.
But, they will learn from this mistake and move forward as always.
George impressed the hell out of me and I was expecting a good showing from him.
Bottas has been less than impressive for a long time now and he almost always craters when Lewis is pressing him. Let's give George the seat and let him learn from the best at close quarters.

Seems to me it's not only Bottas that cracks under pressure at Merc, we can add the pitlane bosses & crew chiefs to that list. Another fine mess like the Monaco giveaway.  :o

George drove an outstanding race, but has had a very hard lesson that skill alone is not enough, just hope it doesn't play tricks on his mind when he gets the chance of a clear win in future. He appears to be the real deal but confidence needs to be unfaltering at the very top of the game.

As John said, George will need to gain the confidence to truly become a world champ. He will get that driving and learning next to Lewis.
Time to start a "DROP BOTTAS" petition.
