Title: My latest flight vids
Post by: Canada Darrell™ on March 24, 2011, 03:16:44 AM
Finally got the camera I've wanted for over a year. Now if this #$% wind would go away maybe I could get some stable footage but here's the result of the last 2 days of flying.

Nice...did I notice you put on smaller wheels this time (hence the highway takeoff and landing)?

With that fisheye lens it looks like the earth is flapping.  I always thought it was flat  :DntKnw:

Really cool shadow shot at around 6:45 (I'm lookin' at the second one).

Those are the same 6" wheels I've always used.

I was barely able to use the road to land as there was a bit of crosswind. With a plane of this size I can get away with that landing but if I was flying one of my smaller ones I would have had to land on the field (which are saturated right now) as they get tossed by the wind a lot.

I got totally lucky with that shadow shot!

Great video, Thanks for sharing!
The world shrinks again.... aside from being from the same area, I also have  been flying RC planes and have been wanting to mount a camera for years but all my cameras are too heavy. Will have to get a Hero camera like yours.
Thanks again.

From 3 days ago. This video is on Vimeo as they seem to have far superior HD quality than Youtube.
