Title: Williams confirms interim livery for testing
Post by: John S on January 19, 2011, 11:14:11 AM

Any colour you like - as long as it's dark blue, is my guess.  :D :DD :DD

Williams will start next month's winter testing season with an interim livery as they take their time in finalising the look of their 2011 challenger.

The FW33 will be shown for the first time in public on February 1st in Valencia for the three-day test that will run between the 1st and 3rd. Rubens Barrichello will get the first taste of the car, driving for the first one and a half days, with second driver Pastor Maldonado driving from the afternoon on the second day.

This is not the first time that Williams has used an interim livery for pre-season testing. One of the reasons interim colours were used in the winters of 2008 and 2009 was to give the team more time to conclude negotiations with potential sponsors, a reason that could also be delaying this year's livery unveiling.

Williams still plan to hold an official launch for the car with the definitive 2011 colour scheme, but a date is yet to be set.

I'd guess so too, it's what we usually go for!
