They've decided to sacrifice the much loved Chalet building for track safety improvements, could no other way be found???
Just seems an over the top move to get the extra safety measures most agree are needed.

Why would a building set well back from the track and situated before the curve be a hazard that has to be removed? Are they moving the track in that direction to make Eau Rouge slower and therefore slow Radillon as well? Sigh. Do we kiss Spa goodbye as F1's premier circuit?

I'd guess they're looking to build a run off area, or a service road for safety equipment.

A bigger run off area is my guess, too. It still seems like a better alternative could have been found.
