Jeddah Quali

I must admit I cheered when Max put it in the wall.
It is no secret I don't like him as a driver as he is a poor sportsman and follows the Michael Schumacher school of driving. DIRTY!

Merc had a great qualifying as both Lewis and Valtteri showed what the car can do in good hands.

I feel that if Lewis can win his 8th WDC this year, he can then spend the next year mentoring George Russell in the Merc as the pressure will be off of Lewis as he will have erased MSM from the top step.

Having Lewis as a teammate will benefit them both.
I will sort of miss Valtteri in the Merc thou.

I'm no fan of young Verstappen either.  And if you're just a fan of the championship being close, having Lewis on pole should take things down to the wire.

I want someone to break Schumacher's records, never been a fan of his either, and Hamilton is the best bet for doing that.

Further, I'd love to see Hamilton pass the torch on to Russell... skipping Verstappen entirely.  I'm hoping the Hamilton/Russell relationship works better than the Alonso/Hamilton one did.  Although Hamilton seems to have benefited from the Alonso/Hamilton relationship, so maybe a tough year between the two drivers might be best for Russell

Alonso summed it up while watching a replay of Max's last lap - "The race is tomorrow, not today."

I still think that Max might try to take Lewis out on the start today.

Which is just as well otherwise Max would be down 25pts.

I quite agree with the comments here MV is far too aggressive and if you look historically at LH he has never been a dirty driver whereas MV has stated he'll not give way meaning he is happy to crash.
Once you have retired every day is a Saturday!
