Title: Massa drops 10 places at Shanghai
Post by: Wizzo on September 29, 2006, 02:29:53 PM

Felipe Massa’s task of aiding Michael Schumacher in the title battle has been complicated by an unscheduled engine change in his 248 F1 following practice at the Shanghai Circuit today.

The Brazilian will thus lose ten spots on the grid for Sunday’s race. Following Massa’s issues, Ferrari has thoroughly re-inspected Schumacher’s power plant, finding no reasons to worry.  8)

"Starting ten places back is not really fantastic, but we will try and be motivated to do a great race," said Massa, who had been the fastest race driver in practice today.
