It's funny of all the countries around the World that dislike
America they never turn down the money.

1)  How 'dare' you lump us in with Americans!

My friend Sheri used to have a large collection of International Barbie Dolls. I asked her if they came with anything that the American Barbie's don't have. She said, "Yes. Health care."

I don't agree Dare.

While North America includes Mexico and Canada, the term "American" has been usurped by those in the USA for many years to mean "only in the good old USA".

Canada and Mexico are extremely happy to not be lumped in with anything "American", thanks very much.

That, looks like great fun Jeri, however in Britain that's more akin to Trialing/Off Roading rather than Hill Climbs.

There is a real history in the UK of paved road course Hill Climbs tracks where all comers compete for the best time in any road car they bring, even specially built or adapted ones.

This is a old fashioned British car Trialing using especially built cars up hill and down dale over an off road course:-

Or this even more bizarre vintage mud plugging car trial. Who'd have believed you could get so many owners to run these old cars over such a course - crazy or what?

I was first introduced to 'Hill Climbs' as offroaders driving up a cliff face.

For years I assumed that 'Pike's Peak' was just a bunch of European red necks racing up a pile of rocks that F1 drivers would do for fun (like NASCAR or IndyCar racers doing local fair dirt tracks)

2)  You're right, Canadians get uptight pretending we're not 'Americans'.  If you're from anywhere between Tierra del Fuego and Tijuana, you consider anyone living in 'the Americas' to be 'American'.  It's only Canadians and people who live in the United States of America who really use the word differently.  (Although I suppose it's like how we call people from Zhōnghuá 'Chinese', or when some German people show up in Pennsylvania and we just call them Dutch)

Funny when Lewis was cruising to his titles in boring
seasons everyone loved it.

The great New World when someone stating a opinion
get everyone's panties in a twist. The old comics we loved
couldn't perform now

The VW ID.R has been beaten with a ridiculous time of 39.081 seconds. Max drove the McMurtry Spéirling electric fan car on the 1.16-mile course, within the grounds of Goodwood House, at an average speed of 149.13mph, beating VW's best previous time by .82 of a second.

Kinda looks a bit like the Batmobile don't ya think?
