Well, if you are a lonesome man and have yet to find the woman of your dreams, you could also try moving a donkey into your humble bachelor pad. 

According to a educational book being used by 14-year-olds in the Indian state of Rajasthan, a donkey is just like a housewife. The book even goes as far as to say, "the donkey is a shade better".

It explains how a donkey won't complain or wander back to its parents' house and it will never be "disloyal" to its "master". Reports from the Times of India say the book has even received the backing of the state's Hindu nationalist government.
