According to reports a twenty million euro deal between Emirates Airlines and McLaren will be announced sometime later today.
The new deal will mean that the airline will become McLaren's title sponsor for the upcoming season. However, the deal is thought to be just for 2006 with Vodafone coming on board as title sponsor from 2007 onward, after their current deal with Ferrari comes to a close.

it seems that mclaren are starting a trend of 'big money' sponsors just like ferrari have appeared to do in the last few years. I feel we are looking at a Mclaren era coming! Bring it on I say! :D

Yeesh Wiz - you're putting three year old posts on the team boards? Had me goin' - I thought Mclaren had managed to re-sign Vodafone for a moment.

Try to keep up scott, it's a busy time of year for persuading teams to donate items for prizes in the grid game. Wizzo has set his heart on some first class long haul seats or a nice new i phone for the lucky winner. :D :tease:

I was more concerned with Emirates Air putting a McLaren style hole in their wings...
