Gil de Ferran will close out his driving career this week-end at the ALMS race at Laguna Seca, and he's going out with class.
de Ferran got his big break in racing at Jim Hall's Chaparral team. When de Ferran started his own team, he used Hall iconic 66 for his number. Now, for his last race, he will paint his de Ferran Motorsports Acura ARX-02a in Chaparral white. Two of Hall rides, a Chaparral 2 from the 60's and a Chaparral 2E from the early 70's were on hand at the track.
