I feel sorry you guys from England and US must be grieving over the World Cup exit. I know you guys from England are very upset with the poor refereeing which robbed England of one goal. Argentina was awarded a goal that they don't deserve on the same day. I just heard from the news broadcast that FIFA is now willing to discuss the possibility of introducing goal line technology to overcome the inconsistencies in decisions related to goals.

I think this technology should have been incorporated in the World Cup matches long time ago. In the past World Cup, there were always controversial decision related to goals. At least this time the controversial decisions are not biased towards the host nation, as in the past.

The general opinion I've heard around here is, "Good. Now SportsCenter will get back to stuff we actually care about, and we won't have to hear about soccer for our more years."
“You can search the world over for the finer things, but you won't find a match for the American road and the creatures that live on it.”
