Huh! Plays for me. Soccer goalie kicks ball to clear it, it goes all the way down field, bounces over the opposing goalie and scores. :yahoo: :yahoo:

Cool! Classy move not to celebrate. Goalies don't dive like everyone else does do they?

Goalies hardly ever score any goals CD, so I guess they never think about a celebration routine.

Not sure which goalie was most suprised.  :swoon:

Yes, not something you see everyday but a total fluke. That game was played in to middle of bad weather which brought winds like the UK hasn't seen in a while. You can see when the ball bounces mid field, it's caught by a gust of wind and speeds up. Gotta feel sorry for the goalie all the same.

Saw Pat Jennings do that when playing for Spurs many years ago not sure who they were playing though.
Once you have retired every day is a Saturday!

The team was Manchester United Andy, and the year I believe was '67.

Being from Northern Ireland as Pat was, this couldn't have been a fluke, but pure skill.  ;)

He made an apperance at the last Northern Ireland match I was at to collect an award. Windsor Park went mad when he walked onto the pitch. National hero.  :yahoo:
