Fernando Alonso is reportedly the highest paid formula one driver on the grid in 2007.
While it has been suggested that Kimi Raikkonen inherited Michael Schumacher's legendary pay-packet for being 'number one' at Ferrari, a Spanish newspaper claims that the Kimi's new salary is actually less than Alonso's.
McLaren will supposedly pay Alonso nearly (US) $40m this year, compared to Raikkonen's $24m. Schumacher's last Ferrari pay packet tipped the scales at $46m.
Looks like Kimi will have to live on bread and water. ::)
