Glad they don't talk like jet pilots 'Roger that, Race Control'.  Na, I'm definitely on the side of let them talk however they like.  More fun.  Perhaps it would be more professional of the Lotus engineers to just be quiet, after all, he knows what he's doing.  ;)

Kimi never swore on the pit radio so I can't see what the problem is.

I was a professional too before I retired.

The problem is thus:

In your former capacity as a professional would you say, in a public setting, to colleagues 'go away and leave me alone'?  I couldn't, and wouldn't, even though I might be thinking it in cases, because it's not professional behaviour.  That, for me, is the problem.

If you don't agree, that's fair enough.

Edit: This might be coming across as being too confrontational on my part, in which case I apologise because it's not supposed to be.  I'm just not a fan of this sort of behaviour by drivers.

Irisada, no apologies are needed on here because we don't get personal, we are all entitled to our own opinions thank heavens.

As a matter of fact I said the same thing to my boss on the railway, I was fixing a fault on the track and he poked his nose in.
An aircraft landing is just a controlled crash.

Here is two closely working people, who spent much of their time with each other, trying to get the best out of the car, the communication and way of it will be depended upon entirely to these individual how they interact.

I am sure Kimi makes such comments every other time, and his working environment probably gives him this freedom to be so..

Have you not ever had such moments with your best of buddies, who also your colleagues?

Like Kimi his radio transmissions are unique..
Keep running the fast cars, you will be never out of girls
