"I want to race in Senna's era"

I have always liked his driving, because in a good car, he is simply phenomenal. Last year, I think he drove at his best, and the reflection of that wiser head can be traced in this interview. I think I also agree with him about the use of run-off areas and turf, and I am sure I will have few people agreeing with that as well.

I'd certainly love to see F1 cars go back to being twitchy and difficult to control, and bravery to test the limits being as important as skill.

It wouldn't be hard to combine modern safety with old technologies:  NASCAR does that every weekend.

I like the theory of gravel traps and grass and punishing mistakes severely, but I don't really like the idea of people being forced out of the race because a backmarker doesn't know what to do with a blue flag.

The 'rule of the past' I miss most is the spare cars.  Nothing like the sprint to the pits as drivers get into the t-cars after the red flagged first corner crash.
