I couldn't imagine Jackie Stewart ever acting so childish. When
Matra stopped using the Ford power plant and started using the
Matra he sucked it up and acted like a man.

Sure, but Sir Jackie acted like a gentlemen when the rest of the grid acted... well... like Hamilton.  On paper, having 22 Jackie Stewarts on the grid would be brilliant, but how dull would it get if everyone acted the same?

He brought a serious side to the sport, which is much appreciated, but sometimes the sport takes itself too seriously.

Stewart was in the age of Clark,Hill,Rindt,Brabham,Mclaren,Phil Hill,
Moss,Hulme,Surtees,etc....I don't see any Hamilton act likes there.

Sir Jack Brabham had a temper. They didn't call him Black Jack for nothing. I think they were moer restrained for 2 reasons. First, they weren't raised to be racers. If someone tells you how special you are and lets you get away with murder from the age of 5, you're almost bound to be spoiled. I was around some of the athletes at my university and they were the most arrogant, egotistical, entitled bunch it was my misfortune to meet. Second, racing was a more serious business back then. If 3 drivers got together, odds were 1 would be dead within a year or two. OF the group Dare mentioned, Clark, Rindt and McLaren all died in race cars, and Hill and Moss came very d@mned close.

Also, they didn't have live, in car radio. They didn't have TV cameras pointed at them every second. I'd bet good money that they said some unkind and colorful things in the heat of the moment during races, too.

Don't forget the end of the 1979 Daytona 500, the very moment that is credited as the beginning of NASCAR's rise to dominance of the American market. NASCAR still brags about it:

“You can search the world over for the finer things, but you won't find a match for the American road and the creatures that live on it.”

Mclaren died testing a race car after he was retired and Dennis Hulme died after having a heart attack during a race.
