It’s time to get your shovel from the shed and get hunting: Volvo has launched a global treasure hunt for a buried Pirates of the Caribbean car.
The one-off XC90 – which normally ships for £46,325 – has been designed to tie-in with the new Dead Man’s Chest film, and has a custom paint job, 20in wheels and black leather seats.
So, how do you find the V8 beauty beyond bribing the guys who buried it (pictured below)? Free treasure maps are available from Volvo dealers, and from today you can go online here (http://thehunt.volvocars.net/uk/thehunt.htm) to register for the hunt.
