Looking forward to today’s race. Ideally the Merc’s will take each other out on turn 1 and the race will be a battle between Leclerc and Max until Max does something stupid ;) (he’s due for a brain fart after his fine performances of late).
Although it’s flat, the racing lines at Silverstone challenge all the drivers all the time. I don’t think there is another track that requires so much feathering of the throttle to put in a great lap time.
I hope Renault brings something to the table in race pace, and it would be nice if McLaren made up some places for a couple of points. Not expecting much from Williams, Haas or Racing Point today, but if it does string out to a parade, they might tangle things up when they are being lapped.
I should be in chat almost to the end, but will take off so I can ride my bike to work.
Grrrr, why doesn’t the UK just get in line and join CET? Race is an hour later here, so I can watch the start and catch the rest on highlights from work. Sorry, but won’t be on chat today.

Everyone will be starting in the order that they qualified. Absolutely no penalty fiddling. Something unheard of in today's F1.

I think Vettel has lost it, what price Leclerc being #1 driver son.

Vettel's eyesight must be failing :o

Vettel is running out of time to re-find it, and I think Leclerc will be formally #1 driver at the start of next year... ...and at this rate, will be unofficially so by the time everyone returns from the summer break.
