Sheri & I went to see the Fast & Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw last evening. It's been almost 24 hours & I've regained most of my hearing.
It was a good summer movie. Lots of flash & dash, and it doesn't take itself too seriously. It almost looks like they're trying to spin both Dwayne Johnson's Luke Hobbs & Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw off into their own, individual franchises.
As I said, it was a fun film, but I preferred the early F&F entries that were actually about people racing cars.
Be sure & stay for the closing credits. Like most newer movies, they throw in a few fun scenes during them. I also saw a credit for someone listed as "Mr. Johnson's Barber." We got a laugh out of that.
