Title: Las Vegas airports gouge prices for F1 weekend
Post by: cosworth151 on November 17, 2023, 04:55:00 PM
Some of you know that I've been a pilot for many years. I belong to the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Assn (AOPA). This was in their daily news letter:

The 5 main Las Vegas airports are owned by the county. They expect to rake in more than $1.5 million in "special event" and massively increased aircraft landing and parking fees. That doesn't include huge hikes in fuel and services prices. AOPA is fighting it.

The whole weekend seems to be about price gouging, so why not?
