Renault is launching its new Clio Renault Sport with "Formula 1-inspired" aerodynamics that include a first-in-class functional rear diffuser generating 88 pounds of downforce at highway speeds. :good:

Of course, the French company knows something about downforce... its F1 race cars are world champions and currently lead this year's series. A 2-liter, 16-valve engine provides more than enough urge with 195 hp on tap. Connected to a close-ratio 6-speed gearbox, it delivers 0-62 mph acceleration in 6.9 seconds.
