After the disappointing debut of DRS movable wings at Australia the FIA are considering an additional overtaking aid. The Anti Kers System or AKS.
The basis of the system is when Kers is activated by a driver then all other cars within a 1.5 seconds will have their Kers system deactivated. This will work on a First Come First Served basis with the driver behind effectively being able to take 80bhp out of the car in front thus aiding overtaking.
The FIA say the beauty behind this system is that no cars have to be modified as the entire process can be operated by the drivers existing Kers button and the rest is handled by the track side computer system.
AKS or Anti Kers will be unvailed at China.

Good one, Wizzo! :DD
Now, when Jean Todt reads this and actually does it, we'll know who to blame. ;)
-
I think it should be called "AnKers" ;)
-
Or add a random function so that the drivers are unsure whether it will work or not called "Hoping for Anti-Kers" or HAnKers. ;)
Or maybe give Bernie the button and call it BAnKers. :DntKnw:
-
He he he you can't blame me for trying ;)
