Post by: Wizzo on June 03, 2016, 12:38:37 PM
This lucky guy gets to be the first journalist to have a passenger lap on the Nurburgring in the $2.4m, 1500bhp Bugatti Chiron.

Can't work up a lot of enthusiasm for Bugs. IMHO they're ugly. Much rather have an Aston and a Cayman and keep the change.

Do you remember when Virgil Exner & Ghia attempted a Bugatti reboot in 1966? It was a very good looking car. It was part of Exner's mid-60's retro-burst. He also did modern versions of Duesenberg & Stutz.

It was far better than the Kent & Sherman attempt to revive the marque in the early 70's. They came up with a truly fugly monstrosity based on a Lincoln Continental.
