NASCAR is looking to resume race in mid May on a twice a week schedule. All of the races will be at tracks in the southeast. The stands will be empty.
It's not really anything new. In the 1950's & 1960's, Wednesday night NASCAR races were common events.
Sunday, May 17 | Darlington 400
Wednesday, May 20 | Darlington 310
Sunday, May 24 | Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte
Wednesday, May 27 | Charlotte 310
Sunday, May 31 | Martinsville
Wednesday, June 3 | Bristol
Sunday, June 7 | Atlanta
Sunday, June 14 | Miami
Both TV contracts & team sponsorship deals depend on actual races being run.

Without any other sports going on, why not run twice a week?
I think it's a little early to get that many people back together, but maybe I'm just a worried mother lol.
I hope it works out well, so I can watch some racing...
