Could we see the giant leap in safety from the original grand prix races to todays standards.It would be great if you could get some old footage of some of these races in videos

Thank You for the rapid response,yes i am very interested in this era of Motor Racing.I worked with the daughhter of a racing driver at brooklands during my days at Triumph and she got me involved and put a perspective of how harsh conditions were like. I thought it would be good to show how life use to be in the sport,after all today the young kids tune in and its just like they are on X box or playstation.

Check the new threads in Pit Pass, there is a host of information about various aspects of the sport, many have references to how the sport used to be back in the good ol days.
