Title: Lamborghini Aventador Top Speed

Autoexpress test the Aventador's top speed on a runway. I saw one of these cars at Goodwood and I have to say it has leaped into my top 5 favourite cars of all time.

I agree, I prefer clean and flowing to angular. Most of the real classics are very simple: Ferrari 250GTO, Cobra, E Type.

Meh.....it looks JUST like a Lamborghini.....JUST like every Lamborghini so nothing new to see really.

Does the sun ever come out over there? Why is every supercar test seemingly hampered by a wet track???  :tease:

The Sun is a myth in the UK. It's rumored to exist, but no one has ever seen it.

I agree CD it's in the usual Lambo mould. I'm sure originally Lamborghini was meant to rival Ferrari but it soon carved a butch section of supercars all to itself. So for Lambo enthusiasts I'm sure it's brill, not sure I really like it though - but it has some balls alright.  ;)

Oh and I once saw the sun over England in 1985,  :swoon:  :D  not sure how long it lasted, I had to take a midday nap as it was too darn hot.   :P

Of course the sun comes out over here...Monday to Saturday every week  :DD

I'll also have you know we had a mini heatwave earlier, the temp reached at least 14c

It may get down to 14C here late some December night!
