The Superformance Ford GT used as the "hero car" in Ford V Ferrari is to be auctioned. The car has a 427 Ford FE engine, true to the original. Jack Roush built this one. It has an aluminum block stretched out to 511 cubic inches. It delivers 600 horsepower.

I've hinted to my daughter Angie that it would make a fine Christmas gift. This confirmed her long held belief that her old Dad is crazy as a loon.
