I've been meaning to get these up for quite some time now and finally got off my arse (ok, so I shifted my arse!) and did it.

Nice pics. The good ole days eh? If only dumb and dumber had gotten together we might still have serious Indy Car racing today.

:good: Might just give me the encouragement to put up some photos from this springs St. Pete race...

I see you've conveniently edited me out of the 2000 bunch (I wasn't there in 2001). Come to think of it, I don't think I have one of you there either :D

Hmmm, you mean the 2001 pics are actually 2002? I did get some 2001/2002 pics mixed up back then due to my camera at the time recording the wrong year. The 2000 pics are all of my shots as I don't think I had volunteered at the time and I wasn't sure who you were either so therefor I wouldn't have any of you.

I was there 98-2000...I think you were on tires in 2000 (your first year - no?). I was in Tony Kanaan's pit box for the race in 2000 - tres cool to meet him, a really friendly guy (unlike Montoya who was a complete dickweed).
The atmosphere at Indy was amazing - you could go almost anywhere, chat with the teams, and occasionally a driver. No amazing stories, but plenty of 'moments'. Being in the pit boxes for the races was the highlight of the weekends - best seat in the house (aside from the cockpit).

I really need you to squeeze those brain cells hard for me now Scott. Are you 100% certain you weren't there in 2001? Reason I ask is I've triple checked the photos and the file names and age of Dana in the sequence of photos would indicate 2001...and you are in a few of those shots. I just added more face tags for you and Wayne for 2001.

You're right...Ana was born in Oct 2001, so I was definitely there that summer. I guess I was there 1999-2001.
