Mercedes ESF 2009 Concept
« on: June 11, 2009, 05:55:47 PM »
Most car features that we have learnt to love so much first (and maybe gotten used to) appeared in the top-of-the-line Benz. And from the looks of it, Merc is not willing to let go of its ‘pioneer’ status among luxury car safety. That is whay the special ESF 2009 concept.

This one is based on he S400 Hybrid. Among it very features, you get new airbags hidden in the seatbelts, in between the seats and underneath the car. These help decelerate in case of an imminent crash. The inflatable metal beam add extra crash protection without eating out on some more space or weight.

The show car is all ready to be flaunted. Did we tell you about the seats that move the occupants away from the doors just in case there is a side collision. The reflective tire sidewalls help prevent accidents in the first place.

And the list goes on.......
