This is the HumanCar, and although it looks completely mad there is something I find quite appealing about it. Sir Clive Sinclair, eat your heart out.
It is designed by Charles Greenwood, and it made by the user “rowing” to go forward, and it also has a back-up electric battery. Somehow, this allows the driver to reach speeds of up to 60 miles per hour.
This vehicle will cost you £10,000 and it will be available next year, but the inventor has already received approximately 100 pre-orders already. It also has an all-weather roof, and it apparently has a touch-screen display, as well as a GPS.
What do you guys think?

I wonder what an MOT garage would make of it ?

As he didn't appear to be doing much rowing, I suspect it is a plug in electric of some sort, perhaps combined with a flywheel.

I think a strong wind would put it in the ditch. It seems like a pretty neat concept though, if the rowing powers up the electrical system, I also thought he would need to do a bit more rowing while he was driving.
