The first of the modern Fast and Furious movies wasn't half bad. Not great, but not bad. The third one, F&F: Tokyo Drift, stunk the place up.

I happen to like most of the F&F movies.  Never saw 2 Fast 2 Furious though, and plan to keep it that way.

I agree they're not classic cinema, but the car chases in the first movie are great, the music is great in Tokyo Drift, and for the continuing movies, they really do go off in creative directions, not simply remaking the same movie over and over.

Of course, any movie with Vin Diesel is easy to watch...  :-*

(My question though:  where are the Cannonball movies in this list?)

Why are blaming CARS being childish? It was meant to be for the children.  :DntKnw: :DntKnw:

Why there was no mention of Transporter or Italian Job (Both old and New). I think the chase scene from Ronin or Bourne Identity had enough merit to get mentioned.

Those are all good ones, BD. I'd like to throw in a 1955 movie, The Fast and The Furious. It's about a cross country sports car race and is notable for the cars in the race. Besides the expected MG T-type Midgets, TR-2's, XK-120's and 140's, there are even a Jowett Jupiter and a Nash Healey! The entire movie is up on Youtube.
