Return seriously on the cards as engine supplier from 20/21 under new engine regs, says Motorsport.com.
Could this tip McLaren hand over new Honda deal???

There have been rumors of Porsche leaving the top class of the WEC. F1 might be the place for them to go.
-
I would peg RBR to jump on board with Porsche...they want to be a works team again.
-
The rumours have been running for two decades. By this point, I'll believe it when I see it.

OK here's the newest rumor, Mateschitz sells T/R to Honda, then sells R/B to Porsche, leaving F1 with a pile of cash.

If Honda, or anyone hoping to run a championship winning programme, were to buy STR, would they keep the current facility? We all know that except for Ferrari that F1 championships are built in the UK: that's where the F1 people are. I don't know how extensive the STR facilities are compared with others.
If Honda (or anyone else) was just buying the entry licence and building their own facility, they wouldn't need STR (unless STR costs less than a new entry, in which case whoever sells those licences is actively killing the sport by putting up a barrier to entry and devaluing investment).
Long story short, I can't imagine Honda buying STR, especially if a rival company is going to get RBR.

I read a book (don't remember what it's called, it wasn't very good) that posited that the 'super rich' are different, at a genetic level, that we can't understand them, they can't understand 'us', and the gap will continue to grow.
It's an idea that would be exceedingly difficult to prove (or disprove), especially because the people funding the research wouldn't want to be labelled as 'non human'.
