Thanks for that Ian, useful info. The Web site is off line at the moment, but I will be unsubscribing.

Good info Ian, thanks. :good:
I don't see any reason to go ex directory as they clearly state they are not giving out numbers but ringing the numbers and asking if you will accept a call from someone.
Could be helpful if a member of the family, or some one else that needs to get you, finds themselves without your number.

I unsubscribed along with the rest of my family a couple of weeks ago. We're on the Telephone Preferential Service for landlines and have anti-junk measures for the post, so it's only logical that our mobile phones aren't in this directory either. I simply don't like the idea of getting random phone calls from strangers.

I'm about as unlisted as you can be in the US and I still get random phone calls. >:(

The darn site is still offline. >:D

The good news is that while it's off-line, the service is inoperative. In other words, nobody's getting strange random calls until they fix the website. The company said it was due to a large number of enquiries on the site. My guess is these were enquiries to unsubscribe...
Also, it is possible to unsubscribe using the mobile you want unsubscribing. Text "E" (for ex-directory) to 118800. It is very important that the SIM card carrying the phone number you wish to unsubscribe is in the phone you use to text the letter, otherwise you will unsubscribe whichever phone you used to send the text.
