I'm here in Melbourne ready for a fantastic weekend of racing for this season opener. The atmosphere here is amazing. I went to the season launch held in Federation Square and that was a lot of fun - I believe it was broadcast live globally but not sure if any other GPW's saw it? I'm wondering how it transferred to broadcast in terms of atmosphere?
Got a decent spot on the Melbourne Walk on Thursday and got lots of driver signatures and photos (will post pics on gallery when I'm back home) plus a few others - Alain Prost, Adrian Newey, Christian Horner, Cyril Abiteboul and Clare Williams. Wonderful atmosphere already at the track and very excited for Saturday quali and Sunday racing.
Makes me laugh people on holiday online. Still, jealous you there, hope you see a good race with a British winner!!
Have a good weekend, Robem! We'll look for you waving the giant GP Wizard banner. :yahoo:
You lucky lucky sod! :tease:
Enjoy every minute and then make us all jealous telling us about it. :good:

Have a fabby time and I look forward to seeing your pictures when you return home :D
I echo the sentiments above Rob!
Must feel fantastic to rub shoulders with some of the elite in the F1 world, not to mention a grand collection of squiggly lines (erm, autographs, sigs etc). Look forward to seeing your shots when you return home.
Please bring us back some XXXX, Fosters or, go on then, a couple of grid girls ... I know, I know!! :-[
Good on you Rob, the two GP's I'd love to attend are the Aussie and Canadianones. Enjoy. :good:
