Are Montoya & Villeneauve On their way back to F1?
« on: December 27, 2006, 11:04:38 AM »
There are a number of people speculating that Montoya could be coming back.He has been linked to Toro Rosso who have yet to name its drivers for 2007

Villeneuve has an announcement on his Racing Career coming out soon.

I suppose we will have to wait and see the outcome.
Anyone have any thoughts?

I for one would love to see Juan Pablo return, I know he tailed off a lot but I still think if he kicked off like he did at first, not scared to mix it with anyone he'd be tops, get back out there Juan Pablo and show'em  >:D

Both are gone for good,JV not because he want's
to and JPM because I don't think he'll get a top
ride inf1 anymore. They have already changed his
name to just plain Juan in America, and he won't
have to worry about his weight in Nascar

I really thought Champ Cars would have been
a better option for JPM than Nascar.I don't
personally like Nascar but it's getting bigger
every year and it's for sure more fan friendly
   thanF1

Toro Rosso tried to convince Juan Pablo Montoya to skip NASCAR.

It is not known when Montoya was approached by Toro Rosso, but it has yet to name its 2007 driver lineup. The latest driver linked with a seat for 2007 is Tiago Monteiro, having lost his Spyker drive last week to rookie Adrian Sutil.

Champ Car champion Sebastien Bourdais, meanwhile, is in the frame for 2008.

Montoya, is far from regretting his decision to join the popular American series, at the moment he is 'totally focused' and 'like a kid in a candy store'.
