Good find Dare, :good: not sure I like the colour they have added to it though.

If you haven't given this vid a look you should give it a go, it shows Fangio in action in 1978 in a show race with Jack Brabham, both look like they are really going for it. Fangio must have been in his 60's but he still has the fire.

Looked like Fangio hadn't aged in 20 years.Better
racing than we heave now days.

I loved how they stopped working on the cars in the
pits to witness this race, wish I was there.

Thanks, guys. Fangio is my all time favorite!

I loved the sound of that supercharged straight eight in the Alfetta. I think that may have been shot in color. In the older films, red tended to fade first. That's why the car was sort of yellow, and the brown in the Maestro's helmet & shirt turn a weird blue.

The 78 film was a joy to watch. JMF would have been 66 or 67 at the time, and he was still all out. The move he tried to put on Brabham in the first corner was epic!

You always find good stuff Dare. I suspect Sir Jack was allowing Fangio to stay close, as the Brabham was surely a much faster car. Loads of fun anyway. The Alfetta has always been my favorite front engined car, hearing it was great, and how about Monza with no stupid chicanes!! :yahoo:

Absolutely brilliant Dare, seen the Brabham Fangio one before but this was a better vid, I could watch it over and over again, superb mate.  :good:
