Ferrari look set to launch their new F1 car this Sunday, on January 14, with a 'presentation' taking place at the team's base in Maranello.
According to reports by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the car will then hit the track the next day, with Felipe Massa nominated to do the first runs with the 2007 car.
Testing will continue on the Tuesday as well, again with proceedings taking place behind closed doors, with all action at Fiorano, the Scuderia's private test facility.
Although details are sketchy it appears that no photographers will be allowed at either the launch or the first test, with only official pictures being released to the media.
Some sources are suggesting this is because the new car will not be ready on Sunday, while others indicate it is because Ferrari does not want their rivals getting a look at their new challenger until the very last moment.
Kimi Raikkonen meanwhile will make his debut in 'red' overalls this week, at the annual 'Vroom' event, which takes place at the Madonna di Campiglio ski resort in Italy.
Currently seven of the eleven F1 teams have confirmed when they will launch their new cars. Thus far the launch schedule is shaping up like so:
