F1- Alonso to debut new McLaren
« on: January 08, 2007, 08:57:31 PM »
World champion Fernando Alonso has been handed an arduous schedule by McLaren comprising fifteen test days prior to his first race for his new team this season.

That is the information of the Spanish daily Marca, which said the 25-year-old would track-debut the Woking based squad's new MP4-22 single seater on 17 January.

That is two days after the car is officially launched with some demonstration laps in Valencia.

McLaren will then have exclusive use of the twisty Spanish circuit between 24-26 January, before further winter tests in Valencia, Jerez, Barcelona and Bahrain.

After a quiet Christmas-New Year period, F1 action is set to kick off again this month, with Cologne based Toyota getting proceedings going on Friday when the wraps come off the TF107.

BMW-Sauber will then launch its 2007 car next Tuesday

Hope you dont mind Wizard But i am going to take a break.

Kind Regards
The Stig
