Webber's engine goes in a puff of smoke

Both Maclarens were fast but the RBR cars just looked like they didn't need to try too hard and were still really quick. However, it looks like Webber's motor went bang near the end of second practice.

Yeah it didn't look like Mark was pushing it at the time either. Seb had some sort of  problems on the sister car with the water pressure, sounds like overheating to me, perhaps mark had similar issues.

Most observers seem to think that Red Bull have plenty in hand as they were running much heavier than the rest, it's their usual trick, so as long as they can sort or stabilise the other probs they should be front runners.

Was it his engine or gearbox? Webber had to get a marshal to stuff a fire extinguisher behind a wheel to keep the car from rolling backward.

I did not see it but won't mind admitting i was glad to hear it had happened. As an Alonso fan it pains me to say it but i think reliability problems for RBR are my only hope, they look unbeatable :(
So long may the hot temperature, RBR breakdowns and overheating continue :D

I thought Webber had stopped trialling his Dick Dastardly devices now he had won a few but no, just can't help himself. Incidentally I believe this metaphor require Vettel to be Muttley and I think it actually works!
