Massa happier without Schu
« on: January 13, 2007, 08:43:32 PM »
MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO (Italy): Felipe Massa says that he is happy with the new responsibility placed on his shoulders at Ferrari following the retirement of Michael Schumacher.

Kimi Raikkonen has come from McLaren-Mercedes as replacement for the German legend at the Italian marque and Massa feels that both drivers will be given an equal chance in 2007.

“He wants to know about the team and the people in the team, so it's positive. It's important to have a good feeling between us,” said Massa of his Finnish team-mate.

“He has shown himself to be fast but he hasn't won a World Championship,” he continued at Ferrari's traditional press conference at Madonna di Campiglio.

“There are two young drivers in the team who want to win and no world champion so we will be treated equally. It will be the same for both drivers.”

I just hope he can set things up,without the input of Mr Brawn?

We'll have to wait 1 year and see
how happy Massa is after driving
   with the Iceman 1 year.

If McClaren had team orders, Kimi
might have won wc in 05

Mark Twain once opined, "it's easier to con someone than to convince them they've been conned."

I feel team orders can only be judged on the day,and by events.
It is true teams favour one driver over another, but at the end of the day they call the shots for the team correct or not.
They are all in it to win after all. It is easy to have a retrospective view, but teams make mistakes.I want to see what Ferrari do without Ross Brawn

It will be interesting to see how they do without the master tactician and the master driver, although Felipe's no slouch, he tweeked Michaels tail a few times. Really hope he rubs Kimi's nose in it. Team orders, don't like 'em, can understand it towards end of season when one driver can do it and the other one's got no chance yup use him as a blocker if they can but otherwise yes, no team orders
An aircraft landing is just a controlled crash.
