Get fit with Williams F1
« on: July 16, 2010, 12:31:49 PM »
If you want to work out like the Williams F1 team drivers and pit crew, all you need is a Power Plate pro6 machine finished in the Williams F1 livery.

The exclusive Power Plate pro6 machine is being used by AT&T Williams driver Rubens Barichello and other team members as part of their fitness training. An upshot of collaboration between Power Plate and AT&T Williams F1, the machine features proMOTION Dynamic Vibration Technology that offers a complete total-body workout.

Rubens Barichello said…

I can really feel the benefits of the Power Plate machine, especially for stretching. Usually I feel stiff after a race, and can have trouble getting out of the car but this helps me feel looser and more flexible. It’s also a great way to improve core strength, essential for coping with the enormous G-forces caused by racing at high speeds.

The new limited edition Williams Power Plate pro6 is available exclusively from Harrods department store (or 'my local' as I like to call it) for £10,395 (approx. US $15,600).

Actually, I'm impressed.  Not a lot of home exercise machines will accommodate me, but the power plate will!

You sure it's a fitness machine Wizzo, looks more like a portable poo accelerator to me from the second picture.  :D

I know the drivers make a big thing of having to visit the Loo/head before each race but I never knew they had eletronic help. ;) :DD :DD :DD
