Have you ever heard of a programme called Match of the Day?
It is to do with Football and shows the best games of the day.
With Becks going over to you,i though't you might want to tune in,and see how we do it here?

For these two week, I try not to miss the half-hour daily coverage of the Dakar Rally.

Speed Channel used to have on Legends of Motorsport and 5th Gear in the mornings, but no more. Spike TV has two hours of car shows on Saturday and Sunday under the banner of The Power Block. Mostly How-to, DIY stuff.

As far as regular series, Numbers and Dr. Who. OK, I admit it, I'm a math geek!

I'm sure most would agree that Top Gear takes the award for the best car programme in the UK, although sometimes a little biased, its mainly very funny and about cars - What more would you want?

Can you guys in foreign climates get Top Gear?

Wizard-

A&E showed an Americanized, studio-based version of it in prime time for a few weeks. I think they kept the rights to the name. The 5th Gear program on Speed here in the US was a re-titled Top Gear. They showed it at God-Awful in the morning. Speed is now owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. Most of the good stuff on it is going away. :'(

Top Gear and 5th Gear are shown on pay tv, lucky for me my housemate pays for it.  So with that I also get my favourite normal series.  Even though it's over now I love Third Watch.  Also on friday nights I religously watch "cops, cars and superstars" all about the bullrun in the U.S.

Cant you watch any normal shows in the states to do with F1
I really feel for you guys.

Wizard: can't we set up a Transmitter so all these  people can share the coverage we have here?

with exception to the Australian GP, all races are shown, naturally, late at night and with usually a 30 minute delay, so i don't get to watch the race until monday nights.........

Pretty much there's no f1 coverage from the
end of the last race till the start of the new
season

once the season starts are coverage is pretty
good with fri. pratice, sat qual, sunday prerace
the race, podium and the postrace interview all live

dare's right. There is almost no off-season coverage here in the states. We do get F1 racing mag - usually about a month late.

But look on the bright side - That's why we spend so much time here! :good:
