I think it will make too much extra work for Dare and anyone else running our GG to amend our results, so I reckon the existing scores should stand in our game whatever the FIA might do. I don't think keeping the original race finish positions will have any detrimental effect on our Grid Game, after all our game is not linked to the championship points or positions.

I'm more bothered about where Wizzo gets his race info from, I've used my D/U but he is still only one point behind me.    Looks lke the only answer is to spill something greasy and hope he slips up, hehe!

one GG rule we have is that all results ar final after 7 days so
I guess that would imply here.Remember the ewt race errors earlier
in the year?we didn't change them

I've got a fairly hard lined view of this. The GG rule was results are final after 7 days.  It would simply become far too much work for a 'volunteer' to have to go back through all the races and change the results.  Despite the workings of the scoresheet being fairly automatic for scoring, there is far too much work in trying to make all the changes.

I think the rule is fair and requires no change.

But, as always, this is just my opinion and I could be wrong.

This is the 4th year of the GG, the rules as they stand have worked ok so I see no reason to complicate them further, once again I say that this is primarily a fun game, (apart from trying to beat that darn Wizzo  )

Just a quick note so credit goes to the right person.  I suffered a minor hardware failure on my computer earlier in the year and lost all the spreadsheets for scoring. The majority of scoring this year has been all due to the incredible efforts of Dare.  I still try to help where I can, however the only way I can help with the scoring is by re-creating the spreadsheets from scratch.  There is a couple of days worth of excel work in that, which prohibits me from doing it. 

So my full thanks and admiration to Dare for such a great job and patience of a saint when we notice a slight mistake in the scores (this is usually due to an incorrect formula in the spreadsheet).
