My Little Pony.......Soldering Iron???

I can't find much reason or rationale behind this DIY project, it is one of the more inexplicable things in life where it is done just because the person behind it, well can. Personally I think it looks like the work of a madman (or Cos  ) therefore - I like it!  .

Perhaps this might even spark off a revival in the soldering iron industry to come up with more interesting looking soldering irons, eh? Nah, probably not.

At first glance, I thought it was a bong.

I'm surprised how few people, especially in electronics, know how to solder. My 11 year old granddaughter can solder. Her mother cold at that age, too. She might like one.

I can solder.... although it has to be said that I am probably one of the worst that you'll ever see....  I'm more on the destructive side of life... LOL...

I used to be very good at it, but like all skills, if you don't practice it, it erodes. Now I'm just adequate.
